A City Choking for Breath
Delhi, the capital of India, has increasingly come to resemble a gas chamber rather than a livable city. Every winter, a thick blanket of smog engulfs the skyline, reducing visibility, irritating eyes, and making every breath feel heavy. Air Quality Index (AQI) levels frequently cross the “severe” mark, pushing pollution far beyond safe limits. What was once an occasional crisis has now become an annual and predictable emergency.
